Vikram Sarabhai Library, Indian Institute of Management Ahmedabad is in the process of hiring 4-6 Library Trainees.

Eligibility Criteria

1. Post Graduate in Library & Information Science with first class (those who are appearing for MLISc exam can also apply)

2. Good communication skills in English

3. Strong interpersonal and intrapersonal skills

4. Sound working knowledge of IT and IT related applications use in libraries.

5. Knowledge of Linux, PHP and web design will be an added advantage

Compensation offered for the above post is a consolidated stipend of up to Rs.14, 000/- per month.
The applicant must be available for work from Monday to Saturday (both days inclusive). On requirement trainees may be called on shift duty and on holiday too.
The training period will be purely for a period of one year
No TA/DA will be provided for attending the interview
Selection of candidate will be based on written test followed by a personal interview
The written test and interview will be in English.

Age limit: 26 years (as on 31/05/2013)
